What eurinvoice does not do

What the service leaves to other parties.

  • In the sandbox

In plain words

eurinvoice checks invoices, builds the legal file and keeps a record. It does not replace the network, the platform or the archive around that work: we rent the first two, and the client keeps its own archive. The hosted sandbox holds no rail credential yet, so it sends nothing.

Read this before you plan a project around eurinvoice.

What it is not

  • It is not a Peppol access point, and not a French Plateforme Agréée. Those are rails we rent. In the Peppol four-corner model, eurinvoice sits in corner 1 beside the ERP. The access point we rent is corner 2: it looks up the receiver and sends the invoice.
  • It is not the client's legal archive. We keep evidence for the length of the contract, then export it and delete it.

What is not there yet

Note

Sandbox

Sending is built. The service has sent test invoices to the test systems of KSeF, a Peppol access point and a French platform. Romania's upload has not been tried: only its validators have run. The hosted sandbox holds no rail credential yet, so nothing is sent from it. Germany ends at ready, because the partner delivers the file.

Also missing today:

  • A resend call. To correct an invoice, fix it in the ERP and submit it again.
  • User accounts and a portal.
  • Receiving incoming invoices into the ERP.
  • Invoice signing.
  • Self-billing.
  • A check of tax ids against VIES or national registers.

Out of scope

  • Greece.
  • Consumer invoices (B2C) and public-sector routing (B2G). eurinvoice is B2B only.
  • Tax determination, SAF-T and VAT filing.
  • AI and MCP features. They are a later add-on and are not offered yet.
